In the News: Proposed Kentucky DUI Law changes
In the existing law, a person must be under the influence of a drug to the level that it impairs her ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. Senator Ray S. Jones argues that this "loophole" makes it more difficult to prosecute drugged driving.
Note to Pennsylvania readers: The existing Pennsylvania DUI laws already have the measures proposed in Kentucky.
